John Klimavicz and Bill Hemmer established the Animal Medical Centers of Loudoun with the Ashburn Farm location in December of 2002. Their objective was to build a practice that would serve clients and their pets with compassion and a high professional standard. The hospital policy of outstanding client service, a friendly working environment, and quality veterinary care led to a respected animal hospital serving the Ashburn community.

The second location in Brambleton was opened in July of 2007. Like the Ashburn Farm practice, the new clinic in Brambleton is a customer service based practice – where the staff is trained to pay attention to the needs of the clients as well as their pets.
